  2. Flyer made and posted as our first workshop today!

"Please forward to anyone you think may be interested in using art with workshops that guide discussions on overcoming the hardest times in our life as inspiration and to give hope, having a purpose, and/ or making intentional decisions. Please see attached flyer as our first workshop to print for each participant, have your participant(s) read out loud, discuss, and have each participant complete their own border with their own personal positive message. Then post the flyer (bathroom stalls, in community with permission from locations, at the organization, in their own home, to give out at an event, etc ). Going beyond simply using art as a therapeutic tool, but a means for thoughtful discussions that may save lives and to share hope through art.. This flyer has resource information for Carroll County, Maryland, USA. If you want another location, please comment and I can update."

  3. Defined a Legacy Giver
A Legacy Giver does not need to give their own money to the cause of Share Hope through Art, but allows others to give on their behalf and send our message to your friends. This can be done instead of gifts/flowers for a birthday, holiday, funeral, or even a Share Hope through Art fundraiser/ awareness event. The following will be updated with our foundation's website once our link is added with donation capacity.

"In lieu of flowers/ gifts, please embrace Share Hope through Art's message that you matter, to never give up hope, to be there for your friends, and to reach out for help. I too never want to lose any of you to suicide, overdose, or drunk driving and I am here for you whenever you want to talk. If you feel like donating to this organization, great, but more importantly just know I am here for you and I would be absolutely devastated by the loss of you."

    1. Crap Happens Philosophy
Share Hope through Art was created in response to a tragic loss by suicide. I started the book Crap Happens Philosophy, as a teen, published the first version in 2013, updated it and just did a draft of over 400 pages in 2022 addressing many subjects, thoughts, that can lead one to a dark place.

This book is an innovative effort for suicide prevention, to create resiliency among those bullied, to help people heal from trauma, encourages reader to live intentionally, and ideally leads to meaningful conversations.

From feedback this book has the potential to address serious topics while also launching Share Hope through Art into a self-staining non-profit with staff, budget for supplies, etc.

4 copies of this book were ordered 2/11/2022 to get feedback and use as a fundraiser.

  17. 1st Online Review of the Crap Happens Philosophy Book on 4/25/2022

"This book can help many people to learn how to deal with hard things in their lives. The concepts shared help the reader to gain insight about how to become emotionally healthy instead of suppressing emotions or compensating for suffering in unhealthy ways. Ultimately the goal is to prevent suicide and deaths of despair." by Mary Bem
